Carmichael Chief Executive Our ref: RS/vw Dear Colin Proposed Night Flying Policy Manston Airport As you will be aware from the proposal tabled by Planestation to the District Council on 15th December the operators of Manston Airport have put forward a new night flying policy which may have implications for residents within your Districts. A copy of Planestation's letter is appended. The Council's Cabinet have delegated the authority to negotiate details of the proposed policy to me and I have indicated to Members my intention to consult your Councils. I am therefore formally requesting your views on the Planestation proposal and our initial views on it as expressed in the Cabinet paper. A copy of that report is also appended. I anticipate that the final version of the policy will be formally approved by a full meeting of the Council in mid-January so I would be grateful if you could provide your Councils views to me by 6th January .
